]]>The clip shows a pair of unlikely friends: a puppy named Possum and a kitten named Kangaroo. According to Emilie, both of them were “runts of their litter and rejected by their moms”.
Emilie, who is a foster parent for the duo, decided to put Possum and Kangaroo together so they could keep each other company. This proved to be a great decision as the duo immediately hit it off and became inseparable.
“Something I love about animals is that they don’t care what each other looks like,” Emilie wrote in the text over footage that shows Possum and Kangaroo playing and cuddling.
After watching the video, a lot of TikTok users concluded that Possum and Kangaroo are meant to be friends for life.
“This is so incredibly precious I hope they get adopted together,” one TikToker wrote in the comments section.
“It needs to be put in their adoption clause they need to be adopted together,” another added.

]]>Galena is a six-year-old indoor shorthair cat, who lives in Lehi, Utah with her owners Carrie and Matt Clark. She mysteriously went missing last month, and her owners tore her house down trying to find her, before distributing fliers all around her neighborhood in the hope someone had seen her.
After six days of frantic search, Carrie Clark received a call from Southern California, informing her that Galena was 630 miles away from home. She was found at an Amazon return warehouse, after climbing into a return box, and managed to survive almost a week without food or water.
“The cat was very disoriented and very weak. It’s absolutely incredible that she survived… I knew 100 percent this was an accident. There are so many people who don’t understand how this could happen, but they’ve obviously never owned a cat,” Brandy Hunter, a process assistant at Amazon, told The Washington Post.
Clark broke down in tears after learning what happened to Galena but jumped on a plane as fast as she could to bring her back home. The reunion was pretty emotional, and Clark was happy to see that Galena was in good health despite everything she went through.

]]>O’Dell spent most of her life in Hawai’i, and her upbringing on this island inspired her journey as an artist for the decades to come. She fell in love with glass art during her time at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, where she also explored her interest in oceanography, astronomy, and math.
Her glass art explores the human impact on the natural world by examining species extinction and conservation. She puts an emphasis on ammonites, cephalopods reminiscent of today’s living coleoids, that often have spiraled, shell-like shapes that she enjoys mimicking through her art.
O’Dell decided to focus on extinct species for a reason, and she sees her glass sculptures as a reminder of what we leave behind once we’re gone.
“Coming from a place where active volcanoes constantly rumbled and gurgled, I grew up obsessed with my own mortality. Through sculpture, my work explores themes of ‘memento mori’, as well as extinction, preservation, and origin,” she explains on her official website.

]]>Han Solo frequently goes out by himself and explores the neighborhood, but he always comes back home on time. However, the other day, the dog didn’t return in time, prompting @dammitdemi to embark on a search for him, which she documented on social media.
Thanks to a tracker on his collar, @dammitdemi knew that Han Solo was at the local golf club, one of the places he enjoys visiting, so she went out to get him.
“Too many hours had passed and my mother had begun to worry… So naturally, I put on some walking gear, grabbed the leash and his favourite ball as I took to the golf course! “wrote @dammitdemi in one of the posts.
After arriving to the golf club, @dammitdemi discovered that Han Solo wasn’t there. As it turned out, the tracking app hasn’t been updated in a while. She started searching for the dog and even contacted his veterinarian for advice.
But suddenly, she heard some barking nearby and decided to check it out. At the same time, the app notified her that Han Solo “has been found.” What she so next caught her by surprise.
It turned out that Han Solo was so caught up playing with other dogs that he lost track of time.
@dammitdemi ended up putting Han Solo on a leash, but he still allowed him to play with his friends for a bit longer before taking him home.
She promised that he would get to see them again, but this time under supervision.

The shop owner only noticed the unusual event when he reviewed the security camera footage after a few days and was so amused by it that he decided to send it to local non-profit Fox Guardians, who shared it on their Facebook page.
After the video went viral, some social media users expressed concern about animal’s well-being, considering chocolate is bad for them. This prompted the Fox Guardians team to share an update, saying that even if the fox had a bite, it didn’t do her any harm.
“This fox is doing well, even though it may have eaten some chocolate. It has seen in my friends garden multiple times,” Fox Guardians explained.

The family took large sheets of aluminum foil and taped them on the kitchen floor. They then invited each of their dogs to walk across it.
Most of the canines were puzzled by the shiny and squeaky surface, while some couldn’t believe that their humans put time and effort into such shenanigans. For example, a husky named Cinnamon gave its humans an “Are you serious?” look but still ended up humoring them. On the other hand, Bridget and Turko didn’t even flinch and casually made their way across.

]]>Wanting to get to the bottom of the mystery, Holbrook set up a camera to film the worktable when he’s not around. Watching the footage, he discovered that a tiny mouse was working tirelessly every night to tidy up the mess left behind.
The video, shared by The Guardian, shows a mouse picking up objects and putting them into a box on the worktable.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw that the mouse was tidying up, he moved all sorts of things into the box, bits of plastic, nuts and bolts,” Holbrook shared in a chat with BBC. “I don’t bother to tidy up now, as I know he will see to it.”
After solving the mystery, Holbrook’s friends suggested he should create some challenges for the mouse and get some funny videos out of it. However, Holbrook isn’t interested in doing that and will simply let the mouse continue enjoying its tidying-up sessions.

Oskar and Skye’s reunion became an instant hit on social media. The clip has been viewed 1.2 million times since being posted and attracted more than a thousand comments.
Other TikTok users were delighted by the heartwarming scene but also impressed with Oscar’s crib, which was unlike most hamster living spaces.
“What an incredible habitat you created for him!!” one TikToker wrote in the comments section.
“That hamster has a millionaire home,” added another.
This prompted Skye to later share a tour of Oscar’s home in a follow-up video.
