When Rachel Krall first set her eyes on the adorable kitty Belarus, she didn’t let his crossed eyes stop her from falling in love. She adopted this adorable cat without a second thought, and the rest of the world quickly fell in love with his unique beauty and charming personality.
Krall was determined to adopt Belarus after seeing his photo on San Francisco Animal Care & Control’s Facebook page. Many people expressed interest in this crossed-eye kitty, but she eventually managed to adopt and give him and give him the loving home that he deserves.
Belarus’ crossed eyes won Krall over but she decided to take him to several vets and check if this was something she should be worried about. He was diagnosed with a condition called strabismus, which doesn’t impact his vision or cause him any pain.
Belarus is now followed by over 400,000 people on Instagram, and Krall is using his platform to collect donations for several different animal charities. Despite being a social media star, Belarus is just a regular cat living his best life.
“He is a very active and extremely curious cat. He loves to play with balls, twist ties, and almost any other small object he can get his paws on. He seems highly intelligent and doesn’t let his wonky eyes slow him down,” reads Belarus’ official website.
