Whether they are puppies or full-grown dogs, Golden Retrievers are always on a mission to find new friends. The best thing of all is that they believe anyone can be a friend, whether it’s humans, other dogs, or even different species, as a recent viral video shared by TikTok user @claire_ella shows.
In the video, which got 4.6 million views in less than a week, an adorable Golden Retriever puppy can be seen trying to become friends with a baby deer. The puppy is waging its tail, jumping around, and trying to do everything to get the wild animal’s attention.
Unfortunately, the baby deer just stood still, either not being interested in friendship with the puppy or just being too shy to respond. The puppy eventually accepts that its charm doesn’t work on everyone and walks away.
While the puppy wasn’t successful in making new friends this time, something tells us that this won’t discourage it from trying countless times more.
The social media users seemed to have absolutely enjoyed the encounter between the puppy and baby deer. Some even compared it to a Disney movie.
