Gwen Stefani has always been edgy. She started with her punk rock band No Doubt back in 1986 and has gone onto become a legitimately powerful solo musician. She also never fails to surprise fans and audiences with her fashion sense. She became well known for baring her midriff and is often seen in outfits made of bright prints, bold cuts or sporting a combination of both masculine and feminine items.
No one was surprised when she went on to start her own fashion label L.A.M.B. (named after her first solo album Love, Angel, Music, Baby). The line of clothing mixes Hollywood glamour with an urban street style.
But Stefani might be one of the first pop stars-come-designers to take on the fashion world of dogs. She has recently partnered with Petco to design a line of Harajuku inspired items for canines. The line will include apparel, accessories and toys.
Petco states: “The line features more than 30 trend forward products such as the cozy Union Jack Sweater, colorful Doughnut Toy, fashionable black and white Checkers sock and a snazzy Fedora Hat. From high-style apparel to emoji-inspired toys, there is something to fit every dog’s best look.”
Fun Fact: Harajuku is a district in Japan’s capital city Tokyo. People in this neighborhood have a very experimental and playful style that has made this district, and the dress sense of its citizens, a celebrated wonder in the fashion world.
