It can often be tricky business trying to introduce a new pet into the home. When Jessica Ryan brought a new ginger kitten home (Minnie) and introduced him to her grown up cat Evin, things were never the same again.
Evin decided then and there that he had found his mini-me and would take care of him until the end of his days. Since that first day, the two are inseparable. Minnie follows Evin, just like a ginger shadow and Evin quite enjoys having a protege.
In an interview, Jessica Ryan explained “They nonstop wrestle, play and snuggle. They also clean each other after meals. They’re best friends. We have another older grey (grouchy) cat named Tunie. They love to harass her, chase her and smack her butt when she walks by.”
A year on, the two cats are still best friends, but Minnie isn’t so mini anymore. He might, in fact, start looking around for his own apprentice soon.
