Believe it or not, but this Russian couple actually share their home and their life with a giant bear. 23 years ago, a group of hunters found Stephan, who at the time was a 3-month-old cub that had been orphaned. He was alone and weak. Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenko from Moscow decided to adopt him and give him a home.
It is 23 years later and the three are still living in harmony together. They say Stephan has grown into a loving bear who actually helps out with chores aroudn the house. Althought some might argue that having a wild animal in the house, is not the smartest idea, but they argue “He absolutely loves people and is a really sociable bear – despite what people might think, he is not aggressive at all. We have never been bitten by Stepan.”
