The German man who goes by the nickname Insecthausm became a true Instagram sensation thanks to his love for these curious creatures, and he’s one of the most popular insect breeders on this social media platform.

With 1.8 million followers on Instagram and 13.7 million more on TikTok, his social media page @insecthaus_adi became a huge hit thanks to its bizarre content. He’s best known for taking photos and videos that show him putting insects on his face, which people find scary and fascinating at the same time.

Kozakiewicz is currently 24 years old and he’s been active on social media for a few years, but he’s been collecting insects for much longer—since he was about 11 years old.

“Currently I am one of the largest insect breeders in Europe. I undertake several expeditions to tropical regions every year, to search for new and exciting insects species and present them to the world in social media,” explains Kozakiewicz on his official website.

Being based in Germany isn’t stopping him from exploring rare tropical species, and he travels to rainforests of Thailand, Malaysia, and Laos several times a year in search of insects that he can breed from the comfort of his home.
